State Bank of India’s rate card effective 15 December 2025 pays up to 6.45% a year (Amrit Vrishti (444 days)) on fixed deposits below ₹3 crore. Senior citizens get up to 7.05% (5 years and up to 10 years).
Special deposits. Amrit Vrishti (444 days): 6.45%.
Senior citizens. Senior citizens get 0.50 percentage point more than the general rate. For 5 to 10 years the senior rate also includes the 0.50-point SBI We-care premium, and super senior citizens (80 and above) get a further 0.10 point.
