Tanu Weds Manu Returns get yet another gem on Kangana’s crown!
Movie: Tanu Weds Manu Returns
Stars: Kangana Ranaut, R Madhavan, Jimmy Shergil and Deepak Dobriyal
Director: Anand Rai

Tanu Weds Manu Returns is a magical love story! It’s a continuation of part 1 and a perfect sequel. The film is light and easy on the eyes with a breath of fresh air. Kangana’s dual role of Datto/ Kusum and Tanu in part 2 is breezy, fluffy and promisingly entertaining. The story begins from where it ended in the first part when Tanuja (Kangana Ranaut) and Manoj Sharma (R Madhavan) get married in a lavishing way. But 4 years later, love is lost and aren’t happy in their paradise in London. Tanu is need of some sort of excitement in life and keeps taunting her husband.
The first half is hilarious because of Kangana aka Tanu and definitely more because of Deepak aka Pappi for his perfect comic timing. It is magical how Kangana transforms herself into this young athlete in the movie. The first half ends on a high note with Deepak leaving you laughing. How a London based Tanu leaves her husband Manu in asylum. Later she returns to Kanpur . All raged, while Tanu goes back to her wild ways which includes tantalizing Raja Awasthi (Jimmy Sheirgill). While Manu comes in Delhi finds love again in Tanu’s look-a-like Kusum. Manu finds both of them opposite in nature and falls for her. Second half is emotional when Manu decides to marry Kusum and how Tanu reacts over it. That is when questions arise in our minds will Manu tie the knot once again? It’s exciting to see how the story moves ahead with interesting twists and turns.

Tanu Weds Manu is flooded with appreciation as right from industry celebrities to general audience are praising the films cast. People and stars both are busy writing about Tanu Weds Manu on Twitter and other social forums. Everyone in the supporting cast is just fantabulous. Kangana as Kusum is far better than Tanu if compare both then Kusum over shadows Tanu with her Haryanvi tone of voice. Let’s check out each performance in detail:
Kangana Ranaut, has definitely wowed everyone with her acting prowess. She does justice to both the roles Kusum and Tanu.
R Mahadavn, as Manoj suits the role of simple guy and does it great sincerity. He is shown as the usual, sweet and quiet man in a bad marriage.
Deepak Dobriyal, aka Pappiji, is not far behind. The Pappiji’s act is ‘brilliant’ in the sequel its out and out fun to watch him.
Jimmy Shergil as Raja who had played a negative role in part 1 is now seen playing a positive role in the sequel.
Aanand L. Rai is a Hindi film director, known for romantic-comedy Tanu Weds Manu. His latest film is Raanjhanaa starring Dhanush, Abhay Deol and Sonam Kapoor. We need just one word to describe Mr. Anand Rai’s direction for Tanu Weds Manu Returns, it’s completely ‘Out-of-this world’.
Tanu weds Manu Returns has a marvelous list of tracks in its kitty. All the songs are composed by mixed artists including Tanishk & Vayu, Krsna that will make you nostalgic song with touching lyrics by Raj Shekhar.

Top 3 tracks are:

Move on rap song by Sunidhi Chauhan.
Ghani Bawari hogyi chirpy song by Jyoti Noora .
Mat Jaa re a sad song by Ankit Tiwari.

Last but not the least one is ‘Banno’ its best of all and a peppy number sung by Brijesh Shandllya.

Final Verdict
Watch Tanu weds Manu returns for Kangna’s sincilating performance, Madhvan’s cuteness, Deepak’s superb comic timing and above all completely outstanding direction by Anand Rai. The film will get you stand still and make you emotionally drained. It’s on the lines of Jab We Met & Band Bajaa Baraat where girls are loud, talkative and free spirited.
I bet you all will forget Facebook, Instagram & Whatsapp for 122 minutes. Don’t miss out on Kangna’s Haryanvi accent just book your tickets right away. Be ready with a popcorn basket and cola to keep you glued to your seats for enjoying this epic drama.
