The film companies of Delhi and Haryana are proving their worth by giving a tough competition to the glare of Punjabi Film industry. Two short films of YP Productions have received National Awards. The first film “Pari Ki Pukaar” has bagged the first prize in the Best Short Film category. The second award has been bagged by Pragya Kumar for being declared the Best Actress for her role in YP Productions’ film “Nari – Farz Ki Vedi Par”. The cinematography of both these films has been done by “Fine Creations”. These awards were given out at the National Matraiyee Film Festival organized in Rani Bagh Ganesh Festival last night. Shri Yograj Sharma, the director of YP Productions, said that the success was attributed to the collective efforts put in by the writers, technical team, actors and the editing team. Mr Sharma also praised the child actress Sania Toukir of the short film “Pari Ki Pukaar” and Pragya Kumar for their acting skills and re-iterated that the hard work put in by any actor or actress can never be overlooked. One may appreciate that child actress Sania Taukir of the short film “Pari Ki Pukaar” can be seen these days in the 10 O’clock night TV serial being broadcast by &TV. And, “Nari – Farz Ki Vedi Par” actress Pragya Kumar is actively working in Bollywood movies these days. Her movie “Broken Harmony” is about to be released. She had played the key role in the Haryanvi movie “Kaanch Ki Churiyan”.
