Gen. VK Singh refers media as a ‘Presstitutes’

 

The Union Minister of States for External Affairs Gen VK Singh on Wednesday sparked another controversy. The minister tweeted referring to the media as ‘presstitutes’ on the micro-blogging site.

Former I&B minister and Congress leader Manish Tewari slammed the Modi-government and said, “What the minister has said is reprehensible and needs to be condemned in strongest terms.” Another Congress leader Shakeel Ahmad targeted PM Modi. “If there would have been a sensitive Prime Minister, he would have dismissed the minister. The PM also has the same mindset,” said Ahmad.

NCP leader Tariq Anwar also slammed Singh. “No it is very unfortunate that a minister is using abusive lang media . Modi should take a call. enough is enough. VK singh has done these kind of things earlier also,” said Anwar

Singh has been amid controversy for his remarks on Yemen evacuation operations and his visit to Pakistan High Commission for Pakistan Day celebration
