An international beauty pageant celebrating Indian beauty on a global platform, witnessed a grand hosting in Mumbai.
Miss India Worldwide 2015, an international beauty pageant celebrating Indian beauty on a global platform, was hosted in Mumbai on the 5th of September, 2015 at The Lalit Hotel, Mumbai.
Miss India Worldwide Pageant is produced by the IFC- India Festival Committee based in New York City

India was represented by Apeksha Porwal. Winner of Femina Miss Delhi 2015 and a finalist of Femina Miss India

JUDGES: – Rohit Verma (Ace Fashion Designer), Legendary Singer Richa Sharma, Actress Hrishtaa Bhatt , Ex Winner of Miss India Worldwide Niharika Raizada and Nikkitasha Marwah.

5th September, 2015, Mumbai, Maharashtra: – Organized since 1990, Miss India Worldwide, produced by IFC- India Festival Committee based in New York, actively engages India with the Indian Diaspora abroad. Miss India Worldwide 2015 not only connected fashion, beauty and womanhood, but also played a leading role in creating social impact while promoting woman empowerment.

Miss India Worldwide 2015 was wrapped up with much grandeur in the presence of eminent jury, ravishing finalists and electrifying performances. In the end Stephanie Lohale was crowned Miss India Worldwide 2015 alongside Apeksha Porwal _as the 1st runner up and Shivani Govender _ as the 2nd runner up. In an intense competition that saw finalists from various countries, the beauty pageant has been providing a platform to make the India & Indians proud globally. As fillers during the show had performance by hridai and monica Gill .
The beauty pageant saw the attendance of Shweta Khanduri, Shekhar Suman with wife Alka Suman, Shatrughan Sinha, Geeta Kapoor, Gautam Arora, Spotted was Arian Romal the International Star & Sandeep Kochar etc
The faculty that was from different walks of life saw Sandeep Soparkar (Ace Dancer & Fashion Choreographer); Ritika Ramtri (Pageant Coach); Raj Suri (Photographer/ Film Producer); Alesia Raut (One of India’s top models).
The judges included Ace Designer Rohit Verma, Richa Sharma, Hrishta Bhatt , Niharika Raizada, Nikkitasha Marwah who judged the finalists on their poise, charm, beauty, intelligence and lot more at The Lalit Hotel, Mumbai.
The spectacular evening was hosted by the television heart throb- Karan Tacker who kept the audience engaged with his wit, charm and energy. The evening saw breathtaking performances by various artists.
The pageant consisted of four segments – Evening Gown, Indian Dress, Talent and Question-Answer. Every ensemble in the collection was separately put together keeping in mind the aspirants of the young girl in modern days.
Finalists who were shortlisted from over hundreds aspirants in the auditions presented a fine display of charisma and determination making it a tough decision for the judges. Miss India Worldwide 2015 spanned over 6 days (6th day being the finale) of intense grooming and meticulous training that the girls were conditioned to, giving them a taste of their journey ahead. The glamorous evening also saw the crowning of various sub-titles.
The international beauty pageant which has changed the lives of many is associated with a panel of experts from a cross section of industries be it fitness, diet, fashion, lifestyle or beauty and grooming. With a dynamic and holistic training program for the finalists, the gratification the winners stand to gain is expected to run into crores.
Designer Rohit Verma not only judged the beauty pageant but also designed the gorgeous outfit worn by Monica Gill- Miss India Worldwide 2014 at Miss India Worldwide 2015.
It was a treat to one’s eyes when the Hair & Make up pioneer, Anurag Jaiswal glorified his art and experience on the finalists at “Miss India Worldwide 2015” that left the audience love struck with the best of hair & make up on the finalists walking the runway at “Miss India Worldwide 2015”.
The winners of all the various national pageants from all over the world vie for the glamorous and prestigious title of the Miss India Worldwide.
Miss India Worldwide India 2015 is a platform of inspiration, learning and stardom for a common girl – coming from different parts of the country. The pageant celebrates inner beauty and talent as much as the physical appearance of any contestant, and hence it will be instrumental in setting standards for evaluating and expressing the inner beauty of a global Indian woman.
Miss India Worldwide Pageant is produced by the IFC, based in New York City:-
IFC is a pioneer organization in conducting Indian pageants and fashion shows in the USA and worldwide. The organization has also been conducting the Miss India New York and the Miss India USA Pageants annually since 1980.
In 1990, Mr. Dharmatma Saran, Chairman and Founder of IFC, decided to take the pageant one step further to an international level and started the first Miss India Worldwide Pageant. For the first time ever, Asian-Indian communities from all over the world came together in New York for this event. This unique pageant was an instant success and was acclaimed as “the most glamorous Indian function in the world.”
India has won five Miss India Worldwide crowns with Karminder Kaur Virk, 1994, Sandhya Chib, 1996, Aarti Chabaria 1999, Purva Merchant, 2003, Shagun Sarabhai -2008.
